Online Associate Degree

Online associate degrees are the same as on-campus or in-classroom associate degrees, but the degree can be taken entirely through the Internet or by distance education. Choose program of your choice from the list given below.

An associate degree is awarded after the completion of about 20 classes, preparing students for a career immediately following graduation or allowing them to transfer into a bachelor' s degree program. Some online or correspondence students take more time to complete their degree, others enter an accelerated program and complete their degree relatively quickly. Associate degrees are awarded by a community, junior or technical colleges indicating that you have completed a program of study with a broad base in general education and a concentration in a specific area.

Many associate degree programs are offered through the Internet or correspondence courses. These programs allow students to work at their own rate. Associate degrees that are earned online are usually equivalent to those earned at college campuses.
