Medical Assistant from Apollo College

Medical Assistant program provides class lectures, clinical instruction and pratical experience through an externship in a medical facility. Clinical instruction teaches students to give injections, prepare patients for examinations, process routine laboratory tasks and conduct electrocardiograms. Instruction also covers office duties such as scheduling appointments, completing insurance forms, medical collections, bookkeeping and billing.

Medical Assistant Graduates are prepared to work in clinics, nursing homes, physicians' offices, health care centers as a medical office manager, medical secretary, , medical receptionist, or medical assistant.
