Patient Care Technician

The Patient Care Technician program is designed to help you fill the need for trained healthcare professionals. In a little more than seven months, you can gain an understanding of the healthcare delivery system, patient care, emergency medicine and clinical procedures. You will also learn CPR/AED, electrocardiography (EKG) and phlebotomy.

The Financial Aid Department assists students to understand the application process and eligibility requirements for various federal, state and/or private sources of student financial aid. Florida Career Institute's Financial Aid Department is available to assist students with managing their loans from inception to final payoff.

Careers in the allied health industry continue to be among the fastest-growing in the nation. With an aging population to care for in years to come, the need for trained healthcare professionals is high.
