Computer Drafting and Design
Today's job market is looking for qualified candidates that display
speed, accuracy and knowledge. CAD courses offered at Florida
Technical College provides the skills needed in all three requirements
to compete in today's job market.
Drafters are beginning to break out of the traditional drafting role
and increasingly do work once solely performed by engineers and
architects. According to the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupation
Outlook Handbook, industrial growth and increasingly complex design
problems associated with new products and manufacturing processes will
increase the demand for drafting services.
In the Computer Drafting and Design program, graduates will be trained
to seek entry level employment in a number of occupations like
Company CAD Trainer, Architect Intern, Civil Surveying Draftsperson,
Entry level Draftsperson, Mechanical Draftsperson etc.
