Network Administration - Programming
This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of structured
programming as well as language structure and capabilities. The
Network Administration/Programming course at FTC offers individualized
instruction, classroom settings that allow for more contact hours to
develop skills in the subject area, practical lab based courses and
feasible curriculum to meet the market demands. Students learn about
program development including program definition, psuedocode, flowcharting,
coding, testing and debugging. To practice programming skills, students
develop C++ and JAVA programs to solve "real world " problems.
Today's job market requires programmers who are skilled and trained in
advanced programming concepts. Students who learn to design and implement
advanced algorithm in C++ and JAVA will be qualified for entry level
software development positions. Many technical innovations in programming
advanced computing technologies and sophisticated new languages and
programming tools-have redefined the role of a programmer and elevated
much of the programming work done today.
