The Management of Technology program at Kennedy Western University provides
the opportunity to explore issues and master concepts involved in the
management of technology and technology based organizations.
Bachelor Program
The Bachelor of Science program is designed to equip the student with the
conceptual and practical skills needed to turn technology into a strategic
advantage. This program enables the configuration of that technology to
interface well with the other aspects of the organization such as employees,
customers, suppliers and society at large.
Courses include Marketing Management in Technology-Based Organizations,
Manufacturing for Competitive Advantage, Communications in a Technical
Environment and Problem Formulation and Managerial Decision Making.
Master Program
The Master of Science program takes the student to a greater depth in
understanding the implications of technology in the organization,
particularly in the light of external forces and how it fits into the
general world of science, government and business. This program recognizes
the direction of an organization's efforts in the management of technology
and may well be one of the critical success factors in any management
portfolio.
Courses include Strategic Management of Technology, Project Management and
Leadership, Understanding and Forecasting Technology Development, and
Managing Innovation in a Technological Environment.
